Especially when starting out, the range of accessories for Pokémon cards can be somewhat confusing. Here is a brief overview.

Sleeves protect individual cards from scratches and wear during play or handling. They are the most affordable and, at the same time, most important form of protection.

Toploaders are rigid holders that also protect cards from bending. They are particularly suitable for more valuable individual cards that you do not handle regularly.

Binders are used to store and display a collection neatly. Make sure to choose pages without PVC so that the cards are not damaged in the long term.

The combination you choose depends on whether you mainly play or collect.
